5, so so thrilled at climbing his very first tree. A whole new big boy world is opening up, right in front of our eyes.

Happy Father's Day! This picture says it all. I am so grateful to have a husband who is patient, strong, kind, firm, willing to learn new things, and who loves us both so fiercely. Thank you.
5 modeling a Mama-made outfit for my fashion mentor and teacher, who is so very far away in the UP.
I made these pants for his last birthday from fabric that I think belonged to her mother. I only just made the shirt- one of his favorite stories features a griffin and we were so excited to find a shirt with a griffin on it at Savers last week, I just had to whip him up and new "naked arm" shirt. My parents and their neighbors put up this very sweet swing (that was a lovely hand-me-down from my aunt and cousins) for 5 and his friends in their garden! Who wouldn't want to swing among the sunflowers and snap peas?
photo credit, once again, to my mother. thanks mutti. |
