Helping Dad do Big Boy Stuff

Picture
Since 5 is now (obviously) a big boy, he wants to help Dad do EVERYTHING. He likes to help make breakfast, get dressed, take out the garbage, do crossword puzzles, but he LOVES  to help brush teeth!
He likes to brush his own teeth, but it's hard because he doesn't have any. Dad's are more fun. Way more fun.

Let Me Just Show You One Thing Dad

Sometimes he's more helpful than others.
Sometimes he and Dad have some differing strategies.
Sometimes there is face scratching involved.

I Got it Dad

But mostly, it's just one of those special things that the baby and the daddy do together.

What kinds of things do the babies and daddies (or mommies) in your life do together?

Cute. Do you notice a difference in teething with the amber necklace? I was looking at the hazelwood ones wondering if it really might help with Jake's eczema...do you know of anyone who has used the hazelwood ones?

Thanks Krissy!
Actually, I can't tell the difference yet with the amber necklace, but I'm hoping to be able to once we start seeing teeth cut through...
I haven't even heard of the eczema/hazelwood connection! I'd be interested to learn more about it though.
I had all kinds of dry, scaly skin issues as a kid and now as an adult, I have found that most of them go away when I eat less dairy, take my fish oil, and use Rescue Remedy cream on the rest.

Someone randomly told me about them when I was at a garage sale this spring with Jake (he had mild eczema at the time). I looked them up http://hazelaid.com/C_Home.html and am slightly interested but since it's better in the summer we haven't gotten one yet. We'll see how bad it gets in the fall again.

Jake is dairy-free/wheat-free, takes fish oil and still gets the darn itchies. It can get pretty bad in the cold, dry winter. Once he's 2 (next month...yayee) we're hoping to have the food allergy blood test done, we've been waiting patiently for it since the eczema started appearing at around 4 months old.
